The hybrid power system supplies approximately 35% of Balama's site power needs and delivers clean and reliable power to the Mine resulting in signifiicant reductions in CO2 emissions. At times, the hybrid power system supplies up to 100% of the Mine's power requirements.

Bonatti executed the installation of a Solar Photovoltaic and Battery system on EPC basis.
SCOPE OF WORK
Engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, testing and completion until final acceptance of the entire hybrid plant, on a full turnkey basis. The new plant is integrated with the Mine's existing thermal power generation plant and managed by a hybrid power control system.
