During the entrepreneurial mission to Maputo Bonatti officially signs a memorandum of agreement with the Mozambican ENH Logistics (part of ENH, Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos), giving life to a new local company, “ENHL-Bonatti LDA”.

During the entrepreneurial mission to Maputo led by the Vice minister Economic Development Mr Carlo Calenda and organised by Italian Industrials’ Association Confindustria, Embassy of Italy in Maputo and Italian Trade Agency “ICE”, Bonatti officially signs a memorandum of agreement with the Mozambican ENH Logistics (part of the State Oil Company ENH Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos), giving life to a new local company, “ENHL-Bonatti LDA”.

“ENHL-BONATTI LDA will offer to its clients in Mozambique a full cycle range of Services in Oil & Gas and Power sector by strongly cooperating with local firms in order to maximize the Local Content”, declared Mr Nelson Ocuane, Chairman of the State Oil Company ENH.

ENHL-BONATTI LDA offers these services to the Oil & Gas e Power industry which is emerging in Mozambique. Strength of this project lays on the over-sixty-years’ experience of Bonatti in this sector and the in-depth knowledge of ENHL of Mozambique.

On the one hand, ENHL-BONATTI LDA allows to Bonatti to consolidate its presence in a country which is destined, according to all the experts, to record in the next years a great booming in oil sector, on the other hand the permanent factor of this society is based on un important social target. The main purpose is, in fact, to offer a high level of maintenance services to those plants which will built for years to come, as well as to provide direct and indirect services to construction activities and, at the same time, to go with the community and society along a mutual path for improving competences to operate in Oil & Gas industry.

“The establishment of the Italian-Mozambican NewCo”, stated Mr Paolo Ghirelli, Chairman and CEO ofBonatti “absorbs a clear social purpose, indeed. By becoming a service company operating on behalf of the main international oil companies investing in the Country, the key point is the transfer from Bonatti to ENHL of competences and know-how through development and training of Mozambican workers and staff, we will be able to train both in Mozambique and in any other market where our activities are in progress”.

Thus, in this NewCo are melt : the need to preserve the productive assets which are going to be installed in the country and the requirement to make grow the local human resources in a sector which still today is not enough developped but will become one of the main pillars of Mozambican economy for the next generations.

ENHL-BONATTI LDA is already realising its first activities in Mozambique, in order to prepare itself for the big investment tenders by the International majors engaged in this market, such as Eni and Anadarko.

Bonatti is therefore a “first mover” in Mozambique, thanks to its business model Bonatti is oriented to a deep entrenchment in the territory as strictly as linked on thte local development.
